Write Your First Shell Script
In Unix/Linux world, shell scripts automate repetitive tasks. So, instead of running the same set of commands again and again, we keep all those commands in a file and run that file. Such a file is called a shell script. In DOS/Windows world, you call them as batch files and in Unix/Linux world, you call them as shell scripts. The aim of this workshop is to help you write your first shell script that does something sensible.
